Exhibitions > Liz Guzman & Angie Shen: all about love

It can be a location, and it is beyond time. Does it have a shape? Does it have a texture? A sound? A color? A smell? A weight?

You wanna hear my crazy dream? I always remember my dreams when I sleep with him. This one felt important. There was a little baby. I had a baby! It was a bubble baby. It was like a frog, translucent ... basically a fetus. Shudder like a baby chicken. But it was very cute actually. It was squirmy and hard to grasp. It had no bones, mhmm. Then I think I lost track of him. And I was like, oh, what happened to my baby?! And I couldn't find it, but I noticed there were pieces everywhere ... and I thought, he exploded, into little insects. And I was confused, and trying to put it back together. And it cried, it was a crying baby, with cute big lips, cute smuckers.
I had a dream that it was this girl's birthday and I thought, I should bring a bunch of food and bake a cake. And the person whose birthday it is sees me come in, and says, oh, why are you here? And I said, well it's your birthday, so I thought, we should celebrate. And she hands the cake back to me and says, well, you weren't invited. And I left crying and woke up crying.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
